At Hareline Fishing Store, we’re dedicated to getting your premium fly fishing gear to you as quickly and efficiently as possible, no matter where you cast your line.
Order Processing
We process all orders within 1-2 business days after payment confirmation. You’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking information once your order ships.
Shipping Methods & Timeframes
We offer two reliable shipping options to meet your needs:
- Standard Shipping ($12.95): Shipped via DHL or FedEx with delivery in 10-15 business days after shipment.
- Free Shipping: Available on orders over $50, shipped via EMS with delivery in 15-25 business days after shipment.
Please Note: We ship worldwide except to parts of Asia and certain remote regions. International customers may be subject to customs fees or import taxes, which are the customer’s responsibility.
Returns & Exchanges Policy
We stand behind the quality of our fly fishing gear and want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you’re not happy for any reason, our straightforward returns process is here to help.
Return Timeframe
We accept returns and exchanges for most items within 15 days of your receipt of the product.
Non-Returnable Items
Due to hygiene reasons and product integrity, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on the following items:
- Hooks & Shanks once opened from original packaging
- Fly Lines that have been removed from their spools
- Wading Gear that shows signs of use in water
All returned items must be in original condition, unused, and in their original packaging with all tags attached.
How to Initiate a Return or Exchange
Follow these simple steps to process your return or exchange:
- Contact our customer service team at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order.
- Provide your order number and details about the product you wish to return or exchange.
- We will email you a Return Authorization Number and instructions for shipping the item back to us.
- Package the item securely with the original packaging and include the Return Authorization Number on the outside of the package.

Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error or a defective product. We recommend using a trackable shipping service as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit.
Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect your returned item:
- Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days
- The refund will be issued to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
- You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been processed
Please note that original shipping charges are non-refundable, and international customers are responsible for any customs fees or import taxes incurred during the return process.
Exchange Processing
For exchanges:
- We will ship the replacement item once we receive the original product
- If the exchange item is of higher value, we will invoice you for the difference
- If the exchange item is of lower value, we will refund the difference to your original payment method
